As a storyteller from Lebanon, I have always found that fiction has the power to connect all cultures around the world in our love for the worlds they create. English was the third language I learned, which I did by watching movies and playing video games. What words I failed to understand, I replaced with my imagination. This kindled a sense of wonder and creativity within me at a very young age.

However, being from Lebanon, working as a creative writer is nearly as much of a fantasy as the stories I read and write. I worked in Business Management and accounting for six years until I was able to move here to the US in 2021 and pursue a new career in creative writing.

I traded writing cash flow spreadsheets and accounting for writing stories and editing. Writing is my craft, and I thrive on building unique worlds and compelling characters across a multitude of genres and forms, from fantasy to creative nonfiction. Alongside my creative endeavors, I work as a copy editor and proofreader. I like to think of editing as the accounting of language, as both are characterized by a strong sense of organization, keen attention to detail, and the ability to polish complex documents to become error-proof.
